I think that today there is a variety of quite cheap tablet Pcs to buy one. On
ebay, amazon, alibaba and so many other online stores, especially the Pickegg,
which offers 7" Google android 2. 2 MID tablet PC as an amazing low price-$79.
11 for free shipping. This model of tablet PC was sold at the price of $98. 89
only a few days ago. However, PickEgg may effected by the worsening price wars
or in order to make website promotion, which cause sales price to drop over and
over. Anyway, it is good news to our customers, for there are so many models of
Google android tablet PC sold at the prices lower than $150 on
PickEgg.
Tablet PC is one that I'm drooling over. However, I may have
the patience to wait for better screen resolution, battery life and price, as
well as maybe a few more of the new product category kinks to get worked out,
and I didn't buy one till a week ago. But now, it's really hard to not go on and
just buy one, I think there will be no better price than this one from
Pickegg!
For a no name brand Android device, this isn't bad at all!!
The Rocketchip processor is speedy, the memory is a little on the slow side,
especially when running multiple apps in the background, but all in all, it's a
great product for doing mostly multimedia stuff. I connected to my wifi network
in less than a minute, and I'm already downloading multiple apps from the
Android Marketplace!
There are really some features need to be
acknowledged for such a low priced tablet PC.
A) Touch and Feel - The
wonderful capacitive screens feel like glass. This one feels like plastic, and
like plastic it has more drag on your fingertips. The resistive screens seem to
have several layers sandwiched together so they are not that flat hard surface,
but slightly mushy.
B) Responsiveness - Very good for a resistive screen,
in fact, this is the most impressive resistive screen I have ever used. I used
to have an old LG Incite phone a few years back, it had a resistive screen and
it was an absolute horrible experience to use. I was very pessimistic about this
device because of the screen but once I started using it worked just
fine.
C) Resolution and Color. Not bad. The color has a slight bluish
tint, almost like an uncelebrated Dell laptop screen. You photos will seem to be
lacking some of the poppy reds, yellows, and oranges. So if you are a
photographer like i am, forget using this as a device to showcase your images,
stick with your Ipad, Iphone, Droid.
Anyway, shopping online, especially,
shopping from Chinese online stores, you can often get
surprises.
